Liz Gipson

The Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival is proud to present for the 2012 Festival, Liz Gipson. From Ms. Gipson's website:

Liz has made yarn her life. She is the author of Weaving Made Easy, former editor of Handwoven and Spin-Off, co-host of Knitting Daily TV for it's first three season, and worked as a sales and marketing director for Schacht Spindle Company. She has made numerous appearances on HGTV and DIY networks and has taught weaving and spinning workshops across the country.

Steeped in the business of yarn, Liz serves on the leadership team of the Spinning and Weaving Group, a subgroup of the National Needlearts Association. Liz spends her time cultivating her passion for helping consumers connect with the business that supply the tools of her trade. By day she works as a marketing consultant to assist yarn companies big and small bring their message to market. By night, she crafts and plays step and fetch to four cashmere bearing goats.
