Service Description

Don’t have a lot of space to dye your fabulous fiber?!? Take this small batch dyeing course. You will learn to dye in mason jars with acid dyes and Kool-Aid. You will dye and compare a variety of protein fibers, including smooth yarn, novelty yarn, and comb top. Skill Level: Beginner. Students Need to bring: (12) 32 oz. mason jars with lid, notebook, pen/pencil, plastic bag (to transport wet items), old towel, rubber gloves, N-95 mask, and (1) liquid measuring cup. Materials Included: Acid dyes, salt, citric acid, handouts/directions, wool yarns, note sheet, sample sheet, measuring spoons, and stir sticks.. Registration Fee and Materials Cost included.

Cancelation Policy

Each Workshop has a minimum and maximum number of students. If minimum is not reached two weeks before the scheduled event, the class is subject to cancellation. Once maximum is reached, the class will be closed and a waiting list will be generated. Further instructions for the workshop will be emailed to each student prior to the class. Workshop Refund Policy – no refunds within 5 days of event- except in cases of total event cancellation. 50% refund 15+ days prior to the event.
