Wool and Fiber Prep 101 is the perfect introductory class for anyone eager to learn the essentials of preparing raw fleece for spinning, weaving, or other fiber arts. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with fiber, this hands-on class will guide you through the entire preparation process. You’ll learn how to properly wash, card, and prep wool and other fibers, tackling all the questions you might have about handling raw fleece. We’ll cover techniques for sorting, cleaning, and processing fibers to ensure they are ready for the next step in your creative journey. With expert guidance and plenty of practical tips, you'll leave feeling confident in your ability to transform raw wool into the perfect material for your projects. This class will be held in a relaxed format starting with hands on fleece skirting and fiber talk. Other tools of fiber prep to experience. Students Need to bring: Notebook and writing utensil for notes. Registration Fee included.

Cancellation Policy
Each Workshop has a minimum and maximum number of students. If minimum is not reached two weeks before the scheduled event, the class is subject to cancellation. Once maximum is reached, the class will be closed and a waiting list will be generated. Further instructions for the workshop will be emailed to each student prior to the class. Workshop Refund Policy – no refunds within 5 days of event- except in cases of total event cancellation. 50% refund 15+ days prior to the event.
