Join the newest Bluegrass area yarn and fiber crawl!    Hosted by the Kentucky Fiber Trail, this crawl will take place July 28-August 6.  Set your own business hours, at your own location, and host folks from all over as they travel from place to place!

How much does it cost to participate as a hosting location?

The event is FREE for current KFT members and non-members can participate for $65.  You may join or renew your membership with the KFT for $50.

We do ask that each location donate one item for our giveaways with your business information.

Can I set my own days and hours?

Yes, you can set your own participation dates and hours.  We ask that you stick to those dates and hours as they will published on the KFT website and on social media.  We do request that you commit to at least one full weekend of the days provided to participate.

How will the event be promoted?

The event will be promoted on the KFT Website, KFT social media, at the Ky Sheep & Fiber Festival in May 2024, and we will request participating locations to like and share on their own social media.  The more we like and share, the more visibility we will get for the event.   Each location will receive a yard/window sign and promotional materials to help us promote the event.

Can I charge visitors?

We discourage charging visitors who are coming to your location specifically for the crawl.  We are promoting the event as free to the public, assuming they will purchase yarn, fiber or fiber products from your store.

Do I have to be in Kentucky?

We are calling this a Bluegrass Area event and while most of our crawl locations are located in the commonwealth- we are happy to include neighbors just over the border as well.

This is my first time participating in the crawl, who can I contact for more Q&A?
