The 2011 Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival is history. Over 3,000 people came together in Lexington to celebrate, talk and market natural fiber and local food products. We are humbled by the nice comments from visitors and website mentions we have received, praising our tireless volunteers and overall 2011 show program. The KY Proud Cooking Competition was a crowd favorite again this year.

Twelve Sullivan University culinary students competed on stage for scholarship monies with about twenty fellow students and instructors cheering them on to victory. Sponsor representatives from Whole Foods Market, Nancy's Kentucky Lamb and the University of Kentucky Agricultural College debated before announcing the winners.
